Overview

Drive through lush rainforest at 1900ft above sea level keeping a look-out for mischievous mona monkeys who live in the Grand Etang National Park with its mysterious volcanic Crater Lake!  Smell the variety of spices growing on the trees as we drive through a spice plantation on our way to the seaside town of Victoria.  A  visit to  the Diamond Cocoa plantation will end with delicious sampling of their  dark chocolate.   There's time for an  optional  swim at the falls on the return journey along the scenic west coast.

This tour showcases Grenada's beautiful scenery and  natural beauty and will create lasting memories for you of a truly authentic island experience with tastes of spices, chocolate and fruit as well as an optional swim at a cascading waterfall.

Did you know that the Nutmeg tree produces two spices?  Nutmeg the nut and Mace the lacy red covering on the nut, which when dried turns a mustard yellow colour!  One pod of cocoa makes approximately one bar of chocolate!  Many of the spices are added to the delicious dark chocolate to give the wide variety of chocolate flavours you can find on the island!  Make sure to take some home as souvenirs!

Note - contact us if you would like to use this itinary for a bespoke tour and add on another hour to swim in the sea!
