Begins

Overview

Soak up the sights and sounds of the rainforest as you walk through an authentic spice plantation where you get to see firsthand how nutmeg and cinnamon are grown. After enjoying an invigorating hike it’s time to cool down and swim in two of the seven  refreshing natural pools of the St. Margaret’s waterfalls.

Listen for the calls of the Mona monkeys and look out for the hummingbirds sipping nectar from the surrounding wild blossoms.  This excursion is truly an eco experience.  You will have time to relax and enjoy the natural massage of the refreshing water of the falls falling on your shoulders.  A great way to chill out!  Having relaxed and regained your energy it’s time to prepare for the return journey  which can be described as climbing nine flights of steps.  Best suited to fit and able hikers wearing shoes with a sensible grip.  If it has rained overnight in the rainforest, paths can be a bit muddy - you can wash off the mud at the falls!

Please note that the climb can become strenuous and so guests should be fit to participate.  Your trained guide will have bottled water for you.  Bring some cash, you may want to purchase fruit being sold along the route in the rainforest!

  • Cancellation or Change Due to other Conditions

    If we cancel any trip due to weather, mechanical failure, or unsafe conditions, a full refund will be provided. If a tour departs, but is modified or shortened due to weather conditions, refunds will not be provided.

  • Participant Responsibilities

    All participants will be required to follow safety policies and procedures as well as instructions from guides during activities. All guests must meet minimum age requirements at the time of participation. Each participant is required to sign a Participant Assumption of Risks, Acknowledgment of Inherent Risks and Indemnity Agreement prior to participation.

  • 4 Person Minimum Capacity Requirements

    Our tours require a 4 person minimum for the trip to operate. We reserve the right to cancel any departure if we have not reached our minimum capacity requirements. We will do all we can to reschedule guests reserved on any departure with insufficient reservations. If we are unable to reschedule your tour, a full refund will be provided

  • Confirmation & Payment

    We will contact you by phone to confirm your reservation and finalize payment details. 

  • Payment, 24hr Cancellation and Refund Policy

    Payment in full is due at the time of reservation. Please notify us if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made at least 24 hours before departure will receive a full refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 24 hours of departure.
