Overview

Combining history culture chocolate rums and other local  fusions is what this tour is all about.  First stop along a scenic drive through colourful villages and residential areas is historic Fort Frederick at 800ft above sea level overlooking St George’s – Grenada’s capital.  Here you will learn about Napoleonic forts and the demise in 1983 of Grenada’s revolution and the US led rescue mission.  This fort is steeped in history and affords 360” panoramic views of the island.  Our next stop is a Chocolate Museum housed in one of the 17th century buildings in St Geroge’s. Sampling Grenada’s dark chocolate flavoured with a variety of spices and rums is a must.  There is a wide range of souvenirs ideal as gifts for all occasions.
 
Leaving the picturesque town via the historic Carenage we stop  to sample more local fare from Patricks or a road-side jerk establishment!  Our last stop affords you the choice of sampling some of Grenada’s finest award winning rums at Clarkes Court rum distillery.  Stock up on your favourite flavour – try the Sorrel liqueur or the Original “White lightening”- the cane farmer’s favourite on a rainy day in the field!

  • Cancellation or Change Due to other Conditions

    If we cancel any trip due to weather, mechanical failure, or unsafe conditions, a full refund will be provided. If a tour departs, but is modified or shortened due to weather conditions, refunds will not be provided.

  • Participant Responsibilities

    All participants will be required to follow safety policies and procedures as well as instructions from guides during activities. All guests must meet minimum age requirements at the time of participation. Each participant is required to sign a Participant Assumption of Risks, Acknowledgment of Inherent Risks and Indemnity Agreement prior to participation.

  • Payment, 24hr Cancellation and Refund Policy

    Payment in full is due at the time of reservation. Please notify us if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made at least 24 hours before departure will receive a full refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 24 hours of departure.
